Fanny and Nelson Grande
Fanny and Nelson Grande, founders of Avenida Productions, have dedicated over two decades to film, creating a digital platform that helps creators raise funds for their projects and promoting more diversity in the industry. Under their leadership, Avenida has raised millions of dollars and funded over 400 projects that celebrate diverse voices. Fanny, a filmmaker and actress, has been nominated three times for the Imagen Awards and was selected for Geena Davis's "See It, Be It" fellowship. Nelson, an actor and entrepreneur, co-founded Avenida to generate authentic opportunities for actors and filmmakers of color. Their mission is to amplify diverse voices in film through project funding.
